In 2013 the State Library of Victoria commemorated the centenary of its dome by inviting 100 readers to read 100 second of their favourite book.
Because, as I originally wrote on Everguide, “When a building reaches its hundredth birthday it doesn’t get a letter from the Queen (so far as we know), but there’s got to be some kind of celebration, doesn’t there?”
